Greetings gardeners! Bill & I thought it would be a neat idea to have a blog for our garden, so we could all exchange ideas & learn more about garden happenings with greater ease. Hopefully this blog will be informative & fun for everyone~look for improvements as the season progresses. Thanks for checking in!
A few quick tips on how to use the blog:

I can not only find my plot, I can tell you this photo was taken some time in the spring about 2 years ago when the rhubarb I had in the SW corner of my plot started taking my whole plot over. (Leading me to remove it last year, 2007). Google images are amazing - and a little scary too. (So much for nude sunbathing in your back yard - those who have a back yard;)-- Jan
Someone asked what we're all planting right now...I can't figure out the right place to post my response so here it is...
I recently planted (all starts) of walla walla onions, radicco, and romanesco broccoli (the cool spiral kind.) I'm hoping to get some carrots, radishes, kale in as soon as I can work a spot for it...The ground is still pretty wet...
So far all I've planted is some flax seed. We'll see how that goes. I'm waiting for my potatoes to come in the mail. I've got lots of garlic coming up, though and the parsnips, walla wallas, carrots, kohlrabi and cabbage I overwintered seem to be doing well.
